Praise & Rejoice

Autumn 1992

Sing praise to our Lord, who is righteous and pure.
Rejoice in our Saviour above.
He bears up the weak so that they may endure,
And rest in His comfort and love.

For the blessing and joy that the righteous may know,
I will seek and will do His good will.
Of His love I am sure, as through trials I go.
Though He slay me, I'll trust in Him still.

I pray for His Spirit to e'er dwell within,
That guilt He will cause to depart.
May I, with His strength, turn away from my sin,
And never again break His heart.

I will sing, I will praise, and rejoice in that land.
With the Lamb my new home e'er will be.
Never more will we part, as we walk hand in hand,
Through the passage of Eternity,

Sing praise to our Lord, who has honor and might,
To Him all your confidence bring.
He stands o'er His flock through the bitterest night,
And shelters them under His wing.

He yet seeks for the lost, though soon time here will end,
How e'er far from the fold they may roam.
For the Shepherd won't turn away when they offend,
But calls urgently "Dear one, Come home".

Hold fast to His promise, don't let your light dim.
Have faith in the One we adore.
He gives us this hope, that we'll soon be with Him
In glory and peace evermore.

I will sing, I will praise, and rejoice in that land.
With the Lamb my new home e'er will be.
Never more will we part, as we walk hand in hand,
Through the passage of eternity.
